INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Place cover for Oval Roaster over 2 stove burners. Add dry Pinto beans and chicken broth. Cover with Oval Roaster base and cook at medium-high heat for 1 hour. Uncover and continue cooking.
Place the base of the Oval Roaster over 2 additional burners. Add turkey bacon and cook at medium-high heat until it starts to brown. Stir occasionally.
Add onion and garlic. Cook for 1 more minute. Add ham, beef franks, tomato, cilantro, jalapeño, bay leaves, chipotle sauce and epazote. Cook for 3 more minutes while constantly stirring. Turn off heat. Apaga.
Carefully add mixture to the beans. Stir in salt and black pepper to taste.
Use base again to cover the Oval Roaster. Continue cooking beans at medium heat for 10 minutes, or until they are creamy and broth has thickened.
Serve with corn cob, flour tortillas and lime.
